Worship Hours:

Saturday 5:30 PM

Sunday 9:00 AM & 10:45 AM

Education Hour 9:40 AM (Sept – May)

Everyone is welcome at our Christian worship services – and we really mean everyone. If you have a question about what that means, please ask us. We love those kinds of conversations! Like all good Lutherans, we follow the liturgical calendar, which means we celebrate the seasons of Advent, Christmas, Lent, Easter, Epiphany, and Pentecost and use the assigned Bible readings for each season. For our Christian worship music, of course, we have a piano, an organ, a choir, and some great musicians who play trumpet, guitar, flute, drums, and keyboard. They don’t all play and sing at the same time, but that could be kind of fun! We celebrate communion every time we gather in worship, and again everyone, including children, is welcome to receive communion. Our favorite phrase about this is:

“This is God’s Table, not ours. All are welcome!”

We hold three worship services at our Lutheran church: one service on Saturday evening at 5:30 PM and two Sunday morning services at 8:30 AM (9:00 AM in the summer) and 10:45 AM. We don’t have three services because our church is so big but because we want to offer a variety of times, settings, and opportunities. Come check them all out to see which is right for you. They are not all the same!

One more thing about worship: did you know that we hold our 9:00 AM summer service outside (June – August)? We have a stone altar and stone seats (also some folding chairs if you get here early). Please bring blankets and jackets for the cold days and shorts and sandals for the warmer days. It is lively and pretty and authentically Northern Colorado. How can you not be outside when you live in Colorado?
